ACT

Founded in Istanbul in 2003, ACT operates under the umbrella of the AQUAMATCH Group, delivering advanced solutions in water and wastewater treatment. Since its inception, ACT has successfully designed and implemented treatment systems across a wide range of sectors including; Metallurgy, Glass, Paper, Textile, Petrochemicals, Power plants, Hospitality & recreational facilities, Agricultural irrigation, Drinking water supply, Industrial wastewater recycling, Domestic wastewater treatment. 

AQUAMATCH is internationally recognized as one of the top 20 water treatment system suppliers worldwide, ranking 11th globally according to a GWI (Global Water Intelligence) survey. The group employs over 250 professionals, including engineers and skilled technicians who specialize in Design, Project management, Production and Installation

A significant portion of the team holds bachelor’s or master’s degrees in environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering. Notably, women make up over 50% of both the general workforce and top management, reflecting the group’s strong commitment to gender equality and equal pay.

In addition to commercial operations, AQUAMATCH actively supports initiatives in R&D, social responsibility, and socioeconomic development within the water sector.

To further enhance our regional reach, ACT established a local office in Bursa (BCT) and, in 2020, launched a branch in Gaziantep, enabling us to provide on-site installation and after-sales support with even greater efficiency. We also extend these capabilities internationally through our global partnerships.

MELİH M. ARIKÖK

GENERAL MANAGER

Melih Arıkök graduated from Private School Of Pharmacy in Istanbul with a bachelor's degree. He founded the AQUAMATCH in the 1990's, established ACT situated in Istanbul in 2003, BCT situated in Bursa in 2004, Mr Arıkök holds GM position for both companies which work under the AQUAMATCH Group umbrella.

NİHAL SEVİNDİK

PROJECT SUPERVISOR

Nihal Sevindik graduated from Samsun 19 Mayıs University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. She joined ACT in 2003. She is currently the share holder of the ACT SU VE ATIK SU ARITIM A.Ş. and carries out Project Management functions.

SEVDE ENGİN UYAR

SALES AND PROJECTS

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Sevde Engin Uyar joined the ACT team in 2023. She actively contributes to the development of studies and the implementation of projects within the organization.

ŞEYMA DEMİR

ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS

Since graduating from the Department of Business Administration at Istanbul Commerce University (Istanbul Ticaret Universitesi) in 2023, Şeyma Demir has been responsible for administrative affairs at ACT.

NİGARA ALTUN

ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS

Nigara Altun received her licence degree in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations of the Faculty of Business Adminstartion and Economics of Kırklareli Universty in 2021. Since that time she is performing adminstrative affair duties at ACT.

TUBA IŞIK

SALES AND PROJECT

Tuba Işık is graduated from ITU with a MSc. degree in Environmental Engineering. She carries out Sales and Project processes within ACT where she joined in 2008.

ZAFER KOÇYİĞİT

SUPERVISOR

Zafer Koçyiğit graduated from Samsun 19 Mayıs University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. He has been working as a Site Engineer and Supervisor in ACT where he started working in 2014.

ARMAN NAZARETYAN

INTERNATIONAL SALES

Arman Nazaretyan graduated from Bogazici University with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He carries out International Sales processes in ACT where he joined in 2018.
